The Beaufort and Skipton Health Service Foundation

The Beaufort and Skipton Health Service Foundation Limited (The Foundation) is an independent organisation which administers donations and sources funds for the benefit of Beaufort & Skipton Health Service. The Foundation was founded in 1992, and since then have been able to purchase significant land in Beaufort near the hospital footprint, on the hope of a larger development as the community grows.

Directors of the Foundation meet bi-monthly and through their strategic financial planning and community connections are able to support and assist the Health Service to achieve its goals.

The Foundation also fosters support within the community for the benefit of the Health Service. The Foundation is always keen to hear from community members who would be interested in joining the Foundation’s Board.

Members of the community are invited to become a member of the company and the making of gifts including testamentary gifts to or for the benefit of the Health Service are welcomed.

The Foundation Directors manage a portfolio nearing $1M in assets; these funds have been raised, donated to the Foundation and in some circumstances been funds from groups that no longer exist. The Foundation board invests in projects that are in line with our articles of memorandum, these projects are presented by The Health Service or any member of the public.
